Isn't it Cute?

On my home this aftertoon I heard two girls shouting: "I Can See The Whole World From Here"
I was smiling at the innocence of the statement. Why do we loose it?

After I took the picture I made them climb back down and go to the playground. As you know they argued there case but gave up in the end.

So not me

Last weekend my cousin Aby got me into breading my hair and adding some colors.
This is totally not me. I do color my hair sometimes but never bright bright colors. After my hairdresser got done and gave me the mirror. I went "Holly sh*et, this is a no no".
I can't leave like this. What were you guys thinking? This is soooo not cool. My cousin is saying to me "really it's nice, I like it" I say yeah " you like it. This is you, not me"
My cousin is the type of person that always has something Jazzy in her hair. I am freaking out, like " I can't go to work like this". After a long discussion between the 3 of us. I decided I will just thought it out for 2 weeks and I am changing it back. My hairdresser just called me to check and see If I want to come back so we could something different.
I told my cousin I am never going to take anymore suggestion from her when it comes to my hair.

Tel me what do you think???

Seeing the show RENT live on Broadway!

Yesterday I had a nice surprise. I was out with a friend and he wouldn't tell me where we were going. He kept saying it's a surprise.

After a 15 min drive we were in the middle of downtown Columbus.
We parked and then started walking back toward Broad Street. Finely he says I sure hope you like it because I just now got worry if it's something you would be interested in.
I asked what is it? He said I am taking you to see a Musical.

Yeah, we went to see the show RENT Live on Broadway at the Columbus Palace Theatre. The room was packed. All the seats were sold out.
The show was supposed to start at 9:00 pm but it didn't because they were so many people and it took time to seat everybody according to the tickets and seating chart. We got to seat in one the boxes in the theatre which was really cool. Only 6 other people share it with us.
ACT ONE started at 9:20 pm and was a little over an hour long. Everything was so amazing. I was so in the play that I could feel all the emotions that the cast were playing.
They took a break for a few minutes.
Then ACT TWO began around 10:40 PM and lasted until 11:30 PM
Getting out there proved more difficult. Because there were 2800 people that came to see the show and we were parked on the 2nd floor, I guess I shouldn't complain since the parking garage had 8 floors.
From there we went to the Nationwide District Arena to get a late dinner but we missed the last call by 2 minutes. So we ended up going to Applebee's instead.
It was really nice. I got home around 2:00 in the morning and was "Texting" (can I say that?) my Cousin till I feel asleep. Funny thing is the last SMS I got was around 3 AM but I answered it this morning at 8:00 when I rolled around then went back to sleep.

The picture on the side is the actual Theatre. It's suppose to be over 100 years old. After the show I was wondering how many people have sat in the very spot I sat in. And what kind persons were they?
You can't see the boxes where we sat in because they are mid height and on the side.

Pissed Me Off

Sometimes I just don't get it...
I had a call last Sunday from a guy that I know really well. I wasn't able to talk to him when he called so I let it go thru my voice mail. Finely today after work I came home and decided to call him and see what's up.
I dialed and a girl picked up his cell phone. I said Hi and if I can please speak to "A". She asks who I was to be asking for him. I told her my name and say that I was returning "A's" call. So she is investigating asking me all different questions. So I said to her ( look, I don't know what's going but "A" called me last Sunday and I was returning his call. Okay?)
She pauses and then say hold on. So when "A" comes to the phone I automatically started talking in French because for some reason I had a feeling that the girl was eavedropping.
I was saying (sorry) to "A" for this to have happen. When he said (Who is this? )
I told him (hey it's me. What's up?) He acted like he didn't know me.
Now I have this uncertainties in my voice like (I think I am calling the right number here.) I ask him again (Am I talking to "A"?) he said yes. Like I suspected the girl starts asking me If I could speak in English and say the reason why I was calling . He owns a store, so when the girl said have you bought DVD from him before I said yes. I played it off to help him. So I said "A" again sorry I missed your call last Sunday that is why I was calling. Did you get some new stuff in that you wanted me to check out? Still the guy is playing like he doesn't know me. By now I am so pissed off, because I just lied for him. I never bought any DVD's from him I just said it to put it off the spot.
And the crazy thing is nothing is going on between us. So I don't know why he was freaking out saying he didn't know me. When all he had to say was I am a friend of his or a client. I mean how stupid can this guy be? I think that he has gotten himself in more trouble playing like he didn't know me instead of just saying that he was calling to say hello and see how I was doing and that's it since we are all from the same country or whatever.
So now they both asking me questions. I said to both of them (Hey hey, I called you back because I got a call from you since you have a memory problem then lets' just drop it . As a matter a fact I never called you back. You don't know me and I don't know you)
So the girl asks me (are you really going to forget about this?) I said : of course. Why not?
And I hang up..

My thoughts are how can someone be that Stupid. I was so mad at him. Because he turned a very innocent situation into something shady.

Fun Things to Do at a Drive-Thru

1. Drive through the drive-thru in reverse and let your passenger order.
2. Ask the price of almost everything on the menu and then order something that you didn't ask the price for.
3. Tell the employee that your window is broken. Order and then pay with your door open. When the food comes, roll down the window and snatch your order from their hands.
4. Go to McDonald's and demand a big breakfast at 11:30 at night. Put up a fight.
5. Pay for a large order in pennies and nickels.
6. Order in another language. Be careful what neighborhood you're in.
7. When asked if they can take your order, tell them you are just window-shopping and drive on.
8. Laugh sadistically when asked if you would like ketchup.
9. Ask the cashier how they fit into that little box.
10. If they make you wait, make them wait when they come back on.
11. Demand to speak to the manager. When they come on, complain that you did not like the way the employee said, "May I take your order?"
12. When asked if they can take your order say, "Why, can I take yours?"
13. If they ask you to wait, order anyway and keep doing it till they yell at you.
14. Pretend your car has broken down. Ask for assistance moving it. When they come out, drive away.
15. Tell them you have to use the bathroom.
16. Order a cup of water and two napkins. That's it.
17. Don't order when they come on. Just sit there. If a line forms behind you, get out of the car and cause a scene.
18. When they hand you your food, hand them a bag with all the trash from your car in it.
19. Just stare at them when you pay and get your food. Don't break your stare.
20. Honk your horn the whole way through the line.

So embarrassing

I have been working on a file that has been overdue since 3/1/2006. Because I can't get the right data to submitted it. So I finely had a break thru today when I got a hold of the person that was suppose to give me the right information.
I am in a phone with him and he wants the ID# so he can supply me the data. And today of all days the file happened to be in the next room. I asked him if he could hold for just a second for me to go and grab the file. He said no problem go right ahead. So I run grab the file and come back and pick up the line and guess what? The line is dead. I am freaking out like Nooooo why?
Now I am just pushing all the line that are red on the phone just make sure I didn't make a mistake. I grab line 3 and my boss was on the phone. This is how it went:
Me: Hello?
my boss: Yes, "M" this line is taken
Me: Nooo. What? Are u sure? Sh*et. Got damn it
my boss:"M" I am on the phone here
Me: Oh, sorry. Are you with someone?
my boss: Yesss
Me: sh*et. Oops am sorry
my boss: it's okay.
Me: Are you really with someone?
my boss: Yeahhhh
Me: I am very sorry. I apologize to whomever is on the other line. I had someone on hold
my boss: bye"M"
I just had to sit down and take few deep breath. Then the phone rang. The guy called me back. He said we got disconnected.
I think I had a blonde moment. I never curse at the office. I don't curse much period. I don't even sound right cursing because I don't do it very often.
I am just glad that my boss didn't hold it against me. She was laughing at me so hard that I got so hot because I was so embarrassed. I kept repeating (leave me alone; I was trying to finish with this file)
She said I am just glad that I wasn't on the phone with someone important. I said "Amen to that".

So I keep singing Bad Day by Daniel Powter. Gosh I hate days like this....

Everything is cool though. The file is officially completed and done with it. Don't have to worry about it until next year. Amen!!!

Jilted At The Altar?

Last Saturday I was driving by City Hall and saw the saddest thing. The bride or suppose to be bride was crying in front of the steps. She was surrounded by friends and family I guess. And there was groups of people standing shaking there heads and just looking sad in front of the building.
I don't know what happened since I had just stopped there because of the red traffic light. Me and my mom were wondering what must have happened. Because even from the street you could really tell something was really wrong. Things didn't go as planned. I didn't see the groom maybe he was in the building or he wasn't there at all. I don't know ... But for some reason I can't help but wonder.
I know that I will never know. Still I can't seem to forget about it. I just imagine all the possibilities...
I hope that everything worked out for the best. And that they both find happiness!

WHAT??????

Have you guys heard this song? "the Ding Dong Song by Gunther & the Sunshine"

I was going over the Top 100 videos on Yahoo. I selected James Blunt (you're beautiful) video to watch again then right at the blue that Ding Dong Song came after.
I literally froze looking at the screen. The question in my hand was: Someone published this album? I mean really? Is this for real?
It's like a bad case of I don't know what. Please watch the video and tell me what that was.

Because I just don't know what in the world were they thinking?

I am dying laughing... The lyrics are just BRILLIANT :)))

And I believe the video was made this year. Look at the stuff that they are wearing. It's like welcome to the 80's....
Okay I am going to stop just watch the video.

My 1st Live Hockey Game

Yesterday after our Weekly staff meeting. Our Regional Manager announce that she had 6 extra tickets for a Hockey game that was happening in the evening.
The game was between Columbus Blue Jackets Vs The Blues of St Louis. The setting was at Nationwide Arena Sky Terrace, and we were at the Party Level. We all met around 6:30PM since game time was at 7PM. I think I haven't had this much fun since two weeks ago when I was in Richmond VA. It was just incredible, Just imagine a bunch of girls let loose in a place where most of the drinks are free and so much food around. Actually they had a set up of Hors d' oevres, which were so delicious (mmm) I can still taste the food.
With the game in Downtown Columbus parking was a bit$h but since we decided to only take one car it wasn't so bad. We had to walk at least a mile to get to the arena. I am not even counting the stairs. But the view was so rewarding. We actually got a chance to find new places to hang out. ( I will not mention that our feet was bothering us) you can guess "high Heels" what is it with women and High heels? I think we like to torture ourselves... Anyways, the CBJ's won the game so I think we were the lucky Charms :) Score was 4-1.
We had a chance to squeeze in couple poses in between all the fun we were having. We actually forgot that we brought a camera with us. I will post some of the pics when I get home tonight.
Everyone that went to the game last night is going (A'ye) with every step . We all happy with the good times!

So it's all good :)

I would say the best part is to see the "Cute guys Fight"... The 1st time I saw the fight I was going "Oh my God they are fighting . Is that allowed?" Sharon said Yeahhh all the time. They can get penalty but they fight all the time.

Ps: No alcohol for me. Every drink I had was virgin. :)

Interesting...

I was reading Marks blog and found that Cleveland, OH ranks 59th amoung World cities for quality of Life.
Since I only live about an 1 hr and half to 2 hrs; I am wondering should I move or what?

I was very suprised with the list... I didn't expect to see some of the countries and cities that were listed. But it was a good suprise!

Here is the link to his post http://www.248am.com/mark/interesting/kuwait-ranks-134th-among-world-cities-for-quality-of-life/

Food for thoughts

I came across this paragraph last night while reading. It made so much sense to me that I decided to keep repeating to myself until it is engraved in my memory.

Here it goes:
I have found it of enormous value when I can permit myself to understand the other person. The way in which I have worded this statement may seem strange to you. Is it necessary to permit oneself to understand another? I think it is. Our first reaction to most of the statements (which we hear from other people) is an evaluation or judgment, rather than an understanding of it. When someone expresses some feeling, attitude or belief, our tendency is almost immediately to feel "that's right," or "that's stupid," "that's abnormal," that's unreasonable," "that's incorrect," "that's not nice." Very rarely do we permit ourselves to understand precisely what the meaning of the statement is to the other person.
by Carl Rogers wrote in his book On Becoming a Person

And that is worth thinking about!

:)
