It's that time again. Stuffy head, runny nose, congestion,sinus, and the list goes on and on. I am taking everything and anything I can get my hands on. I have been drinking tea with lemon and honey like crazy. Getting ready to gobble some soup and drink some more tea. Ahhh la vie!

Wendy's Drive-Thru visit

You may have couple of laughs at my expense. I went to Wendy's the other day and I just wanted something small since I wasn't too hungry.
I was looking at Jr Bacon Cheese Burger flyers posted on the window. Therefore, when I got to the intercom I told the lady that took my order I wanted a Jr Bacon Cheese Burger and no Bacon. She asked me to repeat my order. I said, " Can I have a Jr Bacon Cheese Burger and hold the Bacon. Please"
I get to the cashier I can see that she was trying to hold a smile. I am thinking to myself " Why is she smiling?" Oh, well I didn't pay to much attention to her. Then, I got to the next window to pick up my food, two other girl came to look at me and smiling. As soon as I drove off, I figured why they were laughing so much.
The reason, well, I ordered a Jr Bacon Cheese Berger then told them to hold the Bacon. While, If I just ordered a Jr Cheese Berger I would have gotten the same thing at a lesser price.
Genius huh?! At least I know what to say next time :)

Back To The Norm.

Wow, I can't believe that I am at work and feel like I am ready to take on anything. The reason, well, I actually had some rest this weekend. We were short staffed for the past three weeks, and I was handling three people's tasks the entire time. The minimum I worked each week was 55 hours. Moreover, I worked on weekends to try to catch up with less distractions since most business are closed on the weekends. Oh, and in between, my mom and I decided to refurnish the house instead of moving. Therefore, I would leave work and hit the stores to shop for living room furniture, home decor, dining, and kitchen. The house seemed like a wreck this past week. Everything was out of place. I thought just changing the furniture would have been much easier than moving. I was wrong. At least, we only reorganized the downstairs. My home computer is on the floor of my bedroom. I was suppose to go and by a new office desk, but I still didn't get a chance to do so. Therefore, my computer is "Out Of Order" :). We had all the furniture delivered on Thursday and by Friday; we had most the stuff in order. Our home looks so different. Today, I can say that it was easier to replace the furniture instead of moving. Since we didn't move all the house furniture. Next, my mom says that we will redo the bedrooms. I'll say that can wait. In addition, last Friday we filled all the open positions when our VP was here and I feel so relieved. As you can imagine, I just spend most of my weekend recuperating from all these activities. Nevertheless, I am thinking where should I go for my vacations. I have 2 weeks of paid leave that I need to use by November 15th or I will loose the time.

Long Day

To make it short, I was at work for almost 12 hours yesterday. Starting a new month is always crazy at the office. A run down of my day:
Got to work at 8:30am, made a coffee mocha at about 10:00am locked myself in my office to meet my deadlines. Took my lunch around 2PM but I didn't get a chance to eat anything at all because I had to do some errands. Got back at work 2:45PM, again locked myself up to finish up. Finely got done at 8PM. Drove home in a hurry parked just to grab something I needed. Left the house after 3 minutes down the road, I make a quick right turn then BAAM! The police was on my tail. I am
thinking: Oh, noooo.I park, and of course they got this blinding light on me. I rolled my eyes and put my hands out just to let him know I was not appreciating the spotlight. Him and his body cop came around both side of my car. The first cop asked me about my license and registration. The other cop was snooping around the back of my car with his flashlight. I wanted be such a "smart a$$" but I held my tongue and just shut my eyes saying unf*ckingbelievable. ( yeah I actually cursed) a girl is allowed that sometimes. Anyways, I get a damn ticket for running the "STOP" sign. I gave him "the are you serious look" still held my tongue.
I knew he could have given me a speeding ticket and seat belt ticket. I never said a word to him. Got my tickets thought about some other improper language. The damn citation will cost me $110 if I pay it by the court date which is set on 8/11/06.
By this time it's a little over 9PM. I finely got to eat around 10:00PM. Took care of other stuff then got home at 12:15am to call it a day
