Gas prices

I saw this picture and thought the person nailed the message. This is what every body say while at the gas station:

The favorite topic of the majority of American residents. Monday I bought a gallon at $1.98. The last time I bought gas at this price was last year. It's been between $2.50 and over $3.00 a gallon for the past months.
I am wondering what caused this drop. But I definetly appreciate the new prices while they last.Which can climb up this afternoon.

Happy Ramadan!!!

Touch of Blessings

Wow, Ramadan is here and I am happy that the month is back again to bring us closer to ourselves and God. I know lots of people don't have many positives opinions about individuals that pay extra attention to their faith during the month of Ramadan. I know some of them really take it to the extreme. But, who are we to judge? Isn't that someone else's right? If we would just think about what we do, and what we don't do, it would be very uncomfortable finger pointing. I think that with us being all human says it all. No one is perfect. In addition, it seems like everyone has some type of amnesia when it comes to certain things. And only consistent efforts in focusing on a certain goal can one maintain qualities in developing habits that helps to prevent developing a strong case of it. Which can be very difficult since life always get in a way of our "Plans".
I love the month of Ramadan because it brings out the best in a lot more people than any other time during the year. I observe how more people change their living habits just for the sake of the Holy month. (me included, I pay more attention to the things I say or do) It's just as sad when a week after Ramadan people revert back to their old self. But it sure was nice to see while it lasted.
Then again, this is life as we know it. Any different we wouldn't be humans right?

Ps: I am tired, sleepy, over stuffed, and relaxing while writing this post. I really didn't take anytime revising my words or developing my thoughts further.

OHIO Renaissance Festival

This past weekend, Cindy and I went to see the 17th Annual Ohio Renaissance Festival in Waynesville, OH. Cindy works for our company but she is based in our corporate office in Minnesota. She will be with us for six weeks. Cindy and I decided to go together to the festival. We had so much fun. The whole festival is set up on a 30 acres land. So, you can imagine that we did lot's of walking that day. But it was so worth it. The fresh air, the green, the people, and the shows were fabulous. Here are some of the pictures:

My Laptop is here!

I bought a laptop computer a week ago from Dell. I got home late last night and missed the UPS delivery guy by twenty minutes. I called them and had them hold the package for pick up. I went in today and picked it up. Everything looked okay.
Later in the evening,I opened my package and Voila! Here it was just ready to be booted. So far, so good right? Well, things are just beginning. As you probably guessed already. The back of the laptop is broken. I called Dell, but the center where I got my products was closed. I went online and sent them an e-mail. Now, it's just a waiting game. My notebook is working properly though. I just wanted to make sure the breakage is not going to cause any unwanted problems in the future.

Deep Fried Pickles

A very nice client of ours came in yesterday at the office and sympathize to the fact that we had to work on Labor Day Monday. He said that since we didn't get to enjoy much of the cook outs that were happening. He will bring us fried pickles the next day. He is a cook at an old Irish restaurant that are know for their fried pickles. I am not too fond on pickles but I do eat them occasionally.
So, today he came by and brought us the promised food. They were not as I expected. Specially with the ranch dipping sauce, mmmm, it was delicious.
I ate 3 of them.In conclusion, today was my first time eating deep fried pickles and, I must say, I really enjoyed it.

Quote of the Day

Humanity cannot forget its dreamers; it cannot let their ideals fade and die;
it knows them as the realities which it shall one day see and know.
